Thanks so much to Charlot from Dreamaginarius for making my day~ Such a great way to end the year 2010 and begin a new one~ :)  All this excitement happened during the Team Undiscovered Etsian BNR treasury today, hosted by FoggyMorningSundries~ :)

Pounce a Fresh Shop: Lofiphotography

Ahh~ I'm late with the Tuesday Pounce with the Etsian Newbie Team, but I guess late is better than never! 


For the first Pounce a Fresh Shop I'd like to introduce Jenni C from Lofiphotography~ :)
I discovered her through the Etsian Newbie group while I was making a treasury for the Wednesday Team Undiscovered treasury challenge.

Jenni started her love and talent for photography since six grade! She won second place back then with a black and white photo which she also developed herself~ :D I love the mood that her photos portray, it really takes my imagination on a journey! 


Here are some of her work that she is currently selling on her Etsy shop~ Please show her some love and let her photos take your mind away too~ 

I'd also like to share with you the treasury that I made for today's Team Undiscovered treasury challenge, which also features Jenni's item~ :)

I had pre-wrote the above to be scheduled for posting today~ BUT there's some exciting news today!!~ Cinda from Beansprouts Childrens Wear  (also known as BSCW) has featured Bon&Chi on her blog!! X3 Yay~~~~ This is the first feature Bon&Chi has ever had! Thanks so much Cinda~ Really made our day~  

Work in Progress Weekend: Hermione polymer clay figure

Hope everyone had a great Christmas with your family and friends~ :)


For the first Work in Progress Feature, I'd like to share the making of Hermione which was my first custom order from a friend~ :) 

1. Made the head and body. Trying to get the red and yellow stripy tie on
2. Managed to get the robe on, but had to take the hair off so that her hair don't get squashed. (Rethink hair strategy time... (>.<;)) also made her book here! arms not attached yet. Most of the tie got covered up... (why did i do all the stripes...(=.=;)) and added to her "roundness"
3. By this time the sun had set and I'm now working with the orangey lamp light :( Arms attached! Hair (took the looong route) attached! book attached! added shirt collar!
4. Back view of the curls~ oh sooo many curls~ lol
5. Painted eyes and mouth and drew the book cover features on after baking~ Oh and I also powdered her hair and wand with some sparkly PearlEx~  

And then TaDa~ the completed Hermione after glazing~ :)

Feature Friday: Merry Christmas!!

Being Christmas Eve, I thought I should dedicate this week's Feature Friday on (you guessed it!) Christmas! :3 Since I'm very much into cute stuff, combining cute + Christmas has never been so fun~ X3 (actually it turned out harder than I thought... but fun nonetheless)


The limited edition figure of Wallace and Gromit, apparently recreating the scene from the RadioTimes magazine Christmas cover from last year~ :D

Good old Mickey Mouse had a re-design this year~ Toy soldier Mickey is a limited edition Disney Event Vinylmation collectible figure and was sold at the Disney Store (but when I checked Mickey is sold out already :()

Something special for the Star Wars fans out there! :3 Mini Darth Vader Christmas figure~ awww... he's not so scary after all~

The green Android vinyl figure has been transformed into the limited snowman edition for this Christmas season! (can be bought at Dead Zebra Inc.)

Stepping into the girly cutness land of Blythe and Pullip~ Blythe's fluffy yellow Santa dress is so cute~ and the reindeer costume of Pullip is just so adorable! X3

Last but not least, following on from Christmas decorations, Time Square (the one in Hong Kong) has turned its grounds into a "Crazy X'mas" wonderland showing works of the urban contemporary artist Micheal Lau. Bon really likes Micheal's figures, his new Kindergardener series is pretty cute~ :3

Okay~ stop the procrastination and start my blog already!! (>.<;) 


Hehe... so I've opened this account for more than a week (or two?) for my Etsy shop... and not being the brilliant writer that many of the bloggers out there are, I've been really stuck as to what I could write about for my shop. (=.=;) If I just post the most recent items in the store... then this would just be like the facebook page! So I decided to follow the examples of some nice Etsy blogs were they do different feature on different days of the week and have various focuses not just on my shop. :) this I hope will also be an incentive for me to write regularly~


Here's the plan (for now):

e.g. the most recent "I Heart Taste Test" treasury, which I used the newest Etsy Taste Test feature to find shops unbeknown to me~

Show the steps in the production of an item that I've been working on
e.g. Little Hermione and O.B.1 figurines that I have made recently as a gift for family and friends
